The Stables, Wavendon, Milton Keynes 27.6.2010

Well where do I start? It was a brilliant show in a lovely venue.

Dave had a 40 minute set which included -

Midnight Sea
Weaving the dream
Lucky
Certain Distance (which I always sing when I hire a car)
Judas Kiss
Grateful

There were possibly another couple of songs, but as Dave had asked me to a favour I could not do everything, including writing a set list.
Superwoman, I am not. It was no use asking my friend, who had never been to Al and Dave gig, to write a set list is there?

Interval

House of Clocks
Flying Sauce
Palace of V (Al talked about how he heard Duane Eddy when he was 13 and how he said to his mother, "I want to do that.")
Child's View
On the Border (this performance took the song to another level mainly due to Dave's playing)
Night Train to Munich
Midas Show (I forget how much I love this song until I hear it live)
Merlin's Time (wish my cat could have heard this)
Gina
News from Spain ( I wished Carlos had been sitting beside me. Al asked if anyone had the single. 219 copies were sold.)
Warren G Harding
Soho
YOTC

encore

Broadway Hotel
End of the Day

Both Dave and Al were on great form. Wonderful banter and Dave played brilliantly.

Al mentioned that a Les Cousins oldies tour is in the planning stage for April 2011 in the UK with Ralph McTell, Bert J, Roy Harper and Al.

Great to meet so many people from all the lists.
If I start mentioning who was there, I am bound to miss out someone, so I leave it up to them to make themselves known and comment and fill in on the above.
Sorry did not catch up with everyone. Next time.
